Refund & cancellation policy
Cancel future renewals anytime. Refund rights follow Paddle and applicable law.
When Dev30 production billing is activated, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for paid transactions and handles the payment-side refund process.
1. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel a Dev30 Pro subscription through the subscription-management flow available from Dev30 or the Paddle buyer portal. Cancellation takes effect for future renewal according to the billing terms shown at checkout. You can continue using paid access through the period that remains available to you unless Paddle or applicable law requires otherwise.
2. Refund requests
Paid Dev30 transactions are intended to be processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Refund requests should be submitted through Paddle’s buyer support or initiated by the Dev30 operator through Paddle’s seller tools. Dev30 will not ask you to accept an off-platform refund for a Paddle transaction.
Paddle’s own refund policy and buyer terms apply to the transaction. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction take priority where they provide greater protection.
3. When Dev30 will support a refund
Dev30 will reasonably support a full or partial refund request through Paddle when appropriate, including situations such as:
- you were charged more than once for the same intended subscription purchase;
- a payment completed but Dev30 failed to provide the paid entitlement for a material period and the issue could not be corrected promptly;
- a refund is required by applicable consumer law;
- another clear billing or service-delivery error makes a refund appropriate.
4. Change of mind and unused time
Except where Paddle’s refund policy, Dev30’s decision, or applicable law provides otherwise, simply not using the service does not automatically create a right to a refund for an already completed billing period. Cancelling prevents future renewals.
5. Statutory withdrawal rights
Some consumers, including certain buyers in the UK or EU/EEA, may have statutory withdrawal rights for digital services. Those rights can depend on whether access or use began during the withdrawal period and on consent collected during checkout. Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy govern the transaction-side process.
6. How to request help
For a Paddle-processed purchase, use Paddle’s buyer support referenced in your receipt or subscription-management email. You may also initiate a Dev30 support request through the operator’s GitHub profile; do not post transaction details, payment information, private repository content, or secrets publicly.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Dev30 activates production billing, changes billing providers, or needs to reflect new legal or operational requirements. The effective date will be updated when a new version is published.
